Why Americans Must Personally Cancel the Push for Marxism.

The American citizenry has become blind to the egregious expanse of Marxism across these great United States as its citizens cry out to the Federal and State governments for money to help them.  Marxism is synonymous with bondage; it is not a free ride and it cannot be sustained without stripping human beings of liberty. Humans were made to live free under God and we should not be comfortable with a central government giving us our allotted income or food or housing or schedule!

The function of the Federal government should be one that provides cohesion amongst the individual States and not the patronage it is becoming.

Our Congressmen and Senators periodically campaign on how much money they’ve brought back to their respective States in the form of a Farm Bill, or Hurricane Relief, or Healthcare Subsidies; yet they should instead advertise that they first took money from your own pocket, and from the pockets of all Americans, including future generations, before they could redistribute it to these causes.

We were hit as hard as anyone, but we could not justify cashing a check that would help ruin our Nation.

By Spring / Summer of 2020, when the government sent out the stimulus checks, I had been grossly underemployed since December 2018. And yet, at a time when I was struggling to make ends meet, my wife and I chose to void the CARES Act check we received. and though our Leadership has failed us, we continue to fail ourselves by supporting their failed policies.

I speak of my own experience because I want to point out to the reader that the responsibility of this Nation rests first in the hands of the People and second in the hands of the Leaders elected by the people – and though our Leadership has failed us, we continue to fail ourselves by supporting their failed policies. How many of you cashed the PPP check they received this year? How many of you owners of small businesses filed for COVID-19 / PPP relief funds and filed for forgiveness of those loans? I understand times were tough, but liberty must hold greater value than comfort in our hearts – for it is in tough times that liberty can be most easily taken from people in exchange for a little comfort.  Liberty is always taken by degrees, but it is never returned. It is in our power to keep America free if we wake up from our slumber and realize that our actions are costing this Nation its freedom.

Perspective:

We, as Americans, have a choice: we can continue taking from our neighbors and our future or we can grab hold of courage and void the checks that are being sent to us by Congress. It is the American Citizen, and not just the American Politician, who has become the thief that is robbing this Nation. It’s time each American lay the blame squarely at their own feet and choose to be the one who makes the change.
